Human Resources Admin. Assistant 

My title is Human Resources Admin Assistant, day to day I help implement HR policies, manage onboarding process from hire to active status, and handle general employee relations, implement biweekly payroll, coordinate am the go to for general HR questions. I help ensure employees and managers are safe and protected so they can help serve our clients well!

I’m originally from Texas, I came to California to attend Pepperdine University and graduated with a degree in Public Relations, with a business emphasis. I’ve worked in startups, corporate enterprises like Adobe and CBS, and most recently nonprofit work prior to the transition to recovery.

I love working at Hillside Mission because there is a distinct warmth at Hillside from the staff that makes you instantly feel at home and ease. Every staff member brings one hundred percent of themselves to the each task. From the management to support staff, the cohesion and commitment to the holistic support of our clients is clear. 

I’m fairly new to this industry but have never experienced the level of authenticity and passion from staff and management working in unison toward the goal of quality care and health. 

Authenticity and Quality and Ethics are the three most important qualities I try to display personally and professionally.
