I am the case manager at Hillside Mission. My role entails working with Clients and attending to their needs, developing treatment plans, coordinating services with other care providers, and monitoring the outcomes of treatment. My favorite part of my day-to-day is meeting individually with clients and getting to know where they come from and what brought them into treatment so I can understand them better. I work closely alongside a very dedicated staff to ensure our clients have a safe environment to get clean and sober.
My love for this field started at a young age from being around addiction my whole life and always knew I wanted to help people overcome their addictions and make a better life for themselves.I have now worked in the field for over ten years and love what I do!!!!! I am currently a CADC II, I graduated from Fremont High and continued my education at Long Beach City College for 4 years obtaining my certificate in alcohol and drug studies.
I love working at Hillside because the team here is smaller which allows us to work together very closely like a family. I enjoy seeing how our clients will put forth their best effort to get sober while in our care and being able to watch them grow as people.
Professionally I am passionate about helping our clients complete this program and assist them with aftercare to ensure they are given the best chance possible. In my personal life, I am most passionate about my family and especially my kids and their growing up to be well-rounded individuals.
